Funding for fixed dugouts for players is available.  

The requirements for dugouts at Grade 1 to 4 is provide 11 individual seats, or bench seating of at least 5.5m. At Grade 5 and 6, the requirement is for 8 individual seats, or bench seating of at least 4m.  

Dugouts are to be securely fixed down on a solid base, they are to be positioned on the same side of the pitch, equidistant either side of the halfway line, but a minimum 3m apart.  Portable dugouts may be considered, but it must be evidenced how they will securely fixed on matchdays – particularly during high winds or bad weather.  

Please note that the technical areas are to be marked out in accordance with the laws of the game, namely no more than 1m either side of the dugout and at least 1m back from the touchline.
