Clubs must have clear plans to care for anyone who becomes ill or injured on matchday — whether player or supporter.
Player Medical Room
- Required for Grades 1–4
- Located near the changing rooms with a clear, unimpeded route.
- Must not be accessed through spectator areas or changing rooms.
- Must include: treatment table, hot and cold running water, and hand-drying facilities.
Spectator Medical Room
- Required for Grades 1–2
- Separate from player areas and equipped with a treatment table or comfortable seating, hot and cold running water, and hand-drying facilities.
Defibrillator
- A working defibrillator must be located close to the medical room.

Grant funding
The Premier League Stadium Funding will contribute 70% towards the cost of the project. This means your club will need to pay for 30% of the total project cost.
