Payboxes and turnstiles help to improve the safety, control, and efficiency of supporters entering and exiting your ground.   Upgrading your turnstiles and payboxes at your entrances can make a significant difference.

Turnstiles should be strategically located at main entrances, ensuring a smooth flow for visitors. with a bound surface at least 1.2m wide (or a minimum of 0.9m) leading to and from the entrances for safe and easy access.

Turnstiles should be equipped with cashier protection and adequate lighting both inside and out for both safety and visibility.

At higher levels of the game, clubs should consider how they could segregate their crowds on match days.

  • Grade 1: 8 fully operational turnstile entrances
  • Grade 2: 6 fully operational turnstile entrances
